There Are No Rules: It's Rock & Roll!

Earlier this month LuLaRoe launched a brand new Rock & Roll collection: For The Record! I jumped at the opportunity to grab some of these pieces, because you don't have to follow rock and roll to add a little edge to your wardrobe! Today I'm going to show you a few ways to incorporate these awesome new pieces into your existing style, especially if you don't feel like rock and roll is your particular vibe!

I don't typically consider my style to be edgy, grunge, or punk in the least; but I do believe in taking pieces that you love, that may traditionally fall into these categories, and making them your own! Take, for example, the pink "Get it Girl" tank above. I paired this casual graphic tank with some easy denim bermuda shorts and sandals for running some errands with my boys. It's effortless, quirky, and fun. If I wanted to make my look a little edgier I might pair the tank with a faux leather Stevie bomber jacket or an oversized Gwen blazer and some distressed black denim. Or perhaps if my style was more boho chic, then I'd find a flowy kimono like the Shirley or Chloe, and knot my tank over a floral or eyelet Poppy skirt and pair with neutral strappy sandals.

Looking beyond the pieces of clothing that make up your outfit, accessories are KEY to pulling together a certain look. Like I've shown you above, it's easy to add a simple graphic tee into your wardrobe - the magic is in the styling. Check out these awesome examples of incorporating some rock and roll into your everyday wardrobe, and making it your own by adding simple accessories!

Play with what you have! Add some statement earrings and a stack of bracelets to play up the fun and whimsy of a foiled-graphic Liv. Grab your tumbler and a headwrap or coiled hair tie when you're on the go; or dress up your top with dark denim, a wristlet, and some sunnies. See how fun and personal you can make each piece by adding jewelry, sunglasses, or a hair accessory. There are an endless number of options and you can mix and match each time to create a different variation that fits your unique style! Don't let your perception of what rock and roll should look like keep you from experimenting with what rock and roll could look like.

Remember, there are NO rules! It's Rock & Roll, Ladies!!
